Andrew, I remember that too!  What an experience it was!  I'm sure you'll figure out a way.  I am also out of a job but we'll do anything to go to as much concerts as possible.  Mastercard is my new best friend!   Grin

Hello, guys!

Well, quite an exciting day for us fans. I'm from Brazil, but I'm currently living in Sydney, Australia. Does anyone know if there's a cheap flight from here to Winniepeg? I'd really like to go to that show.

Thanks!

I know it's around $1500 for return airfare from Toronto to Sydney, at that's at a bargain basement price.  Winnipeg might be more since it's not a major route.  It may be cheaper to catch one of the shows in Asia.  And from the sound of things, you might get a chance to see 'em in LA or your native Brazil sometime in 2010.

But I applaud your GNR passion.

Expedia can be expensive some times; I'd check out discount carriers directly as they won't charge booking fees.  A good one would be Flight Centre (http://www.flightcentre.com.au/)...

Cheers,

Andrew

Jarmo, does the board have anything to do with the online pre-sales listed on Ticketmaster?

I'm assuming those are radio station, Live Nation/Ticketmaster etc. pre-sales.

Thanks, man. Actually, it is more than just passion. I lived in Montreal in 2003-2004 and I love Canada. Also, I'll turn 30 on the date of the first concert, in Winniepeg. That's why I'd love to be there. How could I ever have a better birthday?

Further, I expect them to announce some Aussie dates as well. And if they go to Brazil near the end of 2010, I'll be there either...

I can't see that. Where?

I guess because I added them to the tour dates?  Huh

I thought it was fair to all the Asian fans to point out that in the middle of all these exciting news from Canada, we don't forget the Asian dates that are before the Canadian ones.

Thanks for the consideration. Much appreciated.  Smiley
I guess I mistook voodoochild's post as they saw the band's confirmation or something.
