It had some funny parts, overall a little disappointing for a season opener. The "I'm more than sure...I'm HIV positive" thing made me laugh every time.

I want to know..... what was the poster that Kyle ripped off of Cartman's wall? Was it kid rock? Can you guys remember or did you see it?

OK. I did love the Jimmy Buffet thing too. I kind of hate Jimmy Buffet so all the fun poked did make me laugh. Especially when Elton John didn't show up (big AIDS activist) cause he was going to another benefit so Buffet played.

It was funny, I was a little let down, but the scene with Kyle yelling at Cartman for making AIDS jokes was great. Attacking their own show. And the cure was hilarious.

Will be another fine season I'm sure.

Just saw the new episode.  I think Freedom's take on it sums up my feelings.  I liked it, but I wasn't cracking up.

i've laughed harder in the first 3 minutes of this show than in southpark.  John Edwards, holy shit thats funny.

yeah i feel the same. the "i'm not just sure, i'm HIV positive" thing was gold, and there were a few decent laughs here and there but overall it was a bit disappointing. last years "ni**er guy" premiere  of season 11 was much better.

Nah they will be on for a couple more years. And because they have been on for so many years you can't expect every season to be the best or even better than the last. With time quality of all shows eventually declines. South Park was declining for a little while but the last couple years have been really good overall. Some of the best episodes have come in the last 3 years but I wouldnt be surprized if this was a "down" year for them. Its tough to stay so good for so long. smoking

For the record, South Park was never on the decline! It's just some seasons are better than others.

The show should always be great though - they can whip up an episode in a week.  with all thats going on in the world right now they should be having a field day.

i have a feeling this episode is going to be full of  Smiley jokes and then they are going to go for one big  rofl at the end.
