Hammerfall - Always Will Be.
I can listen to it now, but a few years ago it was impossible. Because of a girl, of course.

It really depends on my mindframe when hearing them.
Guns n Roses - Don't Cry (Ironic much?), and November Rain. I couldn't listen to that one for a while after a bad breakup)
Bon Jovi(oh har har, I grew up on him) - Bed of Roses
Motley Crue - Home Sweet Home(Just missing someone and knowing it would be a while before we could speak again)
Aerosmith - Dream On ( reminds me of my late grandfather)
It's mostly those angsty-type songs that hit me really hard. I'm such an angsty person at times that it just overwhelmes me sometimes. Argh, I sound like an emo kid

Janis Joplin's 'Trust Me'
Her voice, the guitar melody, the lyrics....none of them are sad really but together they make me very emotional.
How could I forget this one. Fantastic, also Little Girl Blue, another guaranteed kleenex song.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd makes me really sad now, because of its subject matter - Syd Barrett. As most people know he died on Friday. The song has a whole new meaning now.

The song "Forever Young" by Alphaville played during the school dance scene in "Napolean Dynamite" doesn't make me cry, but makes me feel sad because it reminds of the tough days in High School.

Honestly the only song I've ever shed tears to is Sometimes You Can't Make it on Your Own - U2 of the How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb album. It's Bono singing to his Dad while his Dad was really sick. The last verse of the song is Bono singing to his Dad after he's passed away. the relationship portrayed between father and son in the song is one that I think alot of people could really relate to. Give it a listen if ya haven't already.

A few songs have brought a tear to the eye for me, most have been listed here, especially on Estranged the line "How could you say that I never needed you, when you took everything, said you took everything from me". Also the last verse of Coma still sends chills down my spine and I get emotional every time I hear it
One I haven't seen listed that gets me a bit choked up is Check Your Head by Buckcherry

This isn't a song, it's more about the song and seeing the video.
Johnny Cash's version on Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt" is a great cover version on its own. But when you see the video, it just makes more sense. It was made in an age of videos where people are showing of their wealth and videos with half naked women dancing around.
Nice contrast to all those..... Considering he passed away not too long after makes it even sadder.

Amen Also Jeff Buckleys version of Halleujah on his live DVD. It doesn't make me cry but its obviously emotional. Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton . . . Sad very Sad Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls . . For my own reasons I know people who found 'The Streets' song 'Dry Your Eyes' so sad they cried. -------------------------------------- The Killers - Mr Brightside And Eels - Fresh Feeling are sad reflection songs for me. They are more about you've come out the other side songs than sad. But they can make me shed a tear in the right situation

Guns N' Roses...."Estranged", "Breakdown", "the Blues", and "Yesterdays"
U2......This is my trilogy of sad songs by this band..."Stuck in a moment.....", "kite" and probably the greatest loss of someone you loved song "Sometimes you can't make it on your own"
Other songs make that make me cry or give chills:
Led Zepelin "All my Love" The Doors "Hyancinth House"
and so on....
