The leak was more promising... this song is unispired.? Undecided
I have to agree.. I have terrible speakers though on my lcd.. The songs lacked in voclas... I did enjoy the sound of the solo..

What I start to dislike about Scott is that he does not know when to shut up during a song... Listen to this, there's not a two-second spot save for the solo when he does not sing. Multiple layers all over... Ehh, I love Scott, but this ain't right.

I never new Slash and DUff had such a desire to play STP songs. This song could come off any STP album. AFter personally being dissapointed by the debut album aside form a couple of songs, this song doesnt sway my opinion of the band 1 bit.

Hopefully their more "cohesive" collaboration will not turn out to be anything like this....

thats funny. talk to stp fans and they'll tell you that VR is nothing like STP. Slash is so much more distorted than Dean Deleo and Ron Deleo is a completely different bassist than Duff. His moving singable basslines are amazing!

I thought that one was about as average as it gets, pretty much a throwaway soundtrack filler type...........i hope. this better not be on the new disc. that would suck.

Well it was defo intended sarcasm. Scott is not a Nazi, if you dont like it then dont bother posting that comment on this thread. Talk about what you thought of the song, not of what you think of weiland.

At good volume this song sounds great, and I really like it.
I agree that it sounds like heavy STP, but there's no denying that it rocks and Slash's soloing sounds pretty good too.

After a few listens I'm loving this this as much as anything off Contraband. beer

I am really liking the solo, the track is very solid music wise... The songs vocals aren't doing it for me though.. It's not what he is saying or not saying it's more the tone.. Then again I only have lcd speaker and it's like trying to hear a hard rocker with a 1 volume crying

Not very impressed. This sounds like Original Soundtrack Album filler. As someone said perfectly, 'uninspired'; I'll go a bit futher, this track was dull, almost lifeless.

I hope they do better when they sit down and do the next album because VR has generated a catalog with a few good songs insulated by a substantial amount of filler.

oh man listening to it loud is a whole other experience! i have a laptop but I cannot listen to this song on it. I listen on my desktop with surround sound speakers and subwoofer! What am experience! this song kicks so much ass! It's climbing right up my contraband chart! Right off the bat I liked it more than Set me free, Big Machine, superhuman & headspace. Right now I'm putting it right up there with STB, Slither, dirty lil thing, spectacle & do it for the kids. I'm so addicted to this song!!

The guitar work is brilliant. The music right before Scott starts singingm right before the verses is a little weak..like a weaker slithe, but other than that this song is killer!

Just listened to it a couple times and I think it's fucking awesome... The main riff fucking grooves. I like Scott's vocals, lyrics and the vibe of the song. I love the solo too, one of my favorite VR solos so far... Can't wait for teh next album now!

the main riff is the only part of the song I have a problem with. Its uninspired, no dynamics and not texture. Thats where Izzy would come in handy but other than that this song fuckin rocks!
