Wow.. That was a thriller...

Don't enjoy the penalties, but I really like Ukraine better, so good for them.. Actually I like Shevchenko, but he missed today.

A pretty good game...

Refereeing went from one extreme to the other from last night. Hope something in the middle is found.

Well that game of Italy 4 years ago against Corea was perpetrous the referee suck I can tell cause here the same referee screwed my team up too, he is a money sucking thief he is such a disgrace and he is now a comentary for TV is just so corrupt ?Angry

Gutted about the Australian loss. Feel especially bad for Lucas Neill who has been the star of the team in the past 4 matches. Gotta love staying up till 4am watching the game and then going to a 9am university exam  nervous

Switzerland and Ukraine was dismal, I think Italy will smash Ukraine, even though they were less than impressive against Australia.

Haha that's right it's exam time! They had loads of students on the news today that basically said screw exams they gave up on them to watch the game! Hope u went alright!

i'm a big soccer fan, but this world cup has been VERY disappointing. the fake injuries and wasting time and plethora of bookings has made the games almost unwatchable.

also, i can't believe they got rid of sudden death OT (aka golden goal).

and what's with kicking the ball out of bounds when someone is hurt? and then turning the ball over to the goalie to give them possession??? makes no sense to me. they should find a better method for stopping games when someone goes down. (especially since it seems to happen so frequently  Roll Eyes)

ANOTHER RED CARD?!?!?

Can we hit 30 for the tournament?

One question - how many red cards where there in the Premiership last season - i'm betting that it wasn't 30 for the entire campaign - which would rather put the world cup in perspective

Well done to Ronaldo - he's soooo fat (how the hell can a guy that trains all the time be fat?) but thats now his third goal and he's top scorer - it really shows how good he is that fat, crippled with injuries and off form - he can still lead the scoring charts!
