Ya how big was Lit Up?
I wouldn't really know because I wasn't into Rock, or music in general 'till a few years ago when it became my life.

My friend played me Immigrint Song which eventually led to my discovery of Sweet Child... that changed my life.

Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.

I didnt' like the new disc at all when I first heard it, but after giving it another go I am pretty happy with it.  Not as good as their first disc and there are a few tracks that are pretty crappy, but over all its got some good tunes.  Just fun, attitudey rock.  I think Crazy Bitch is the best rock song on the CD though.  Carousel is a great song too.

Buckcherry's new album gets released tonight at midnight. I think I'm going to pick it up. Sounds good (from the demo clips)

I like "Sorry" a lot.

I did get their new album. It was apparently made in 15 days.

Anyways, I've listened to 8 of the 11 tracks. It's pretty good. I liek it.

"Sorry" is a great song, so if "Next 2 you" and "Carosuel"

Good album, their best yet.

Just curiousity here...
Buckcherry is still around -- they are playing the HOB in Atlantic City this month...is that skinny, tattooed lead singer still with 'em?

Yes, he is. His name is Josh Todd and he was at one point working with Slash, Duff and Matt in an early version of what would become Velvet Revolver (just in case you didn't already know that). He left Buckcherry and I believe they split up for a while as a result, and then got back together without the original bass player and drummer. Anyway, Buckcherry have a new album out called "15". It's not great, it's really just "more of the same", but sometimes that's all you want and all you need. Josh Todd's also got a solo album out. It's worth checking out.

ANGUS YOUNG - AC/DC

« Reply #199 on: April 21, 2006, 01:47:58 AM »

anyone who doesn't like their new album "15" is a dumb-ass...got it the day it came out and it is not only buckcherry's best album yet, it's probably the best album to come out in years...period...

the lyrics in  "crazy bitch" are a little over the top...but you can't deny that the song kicks serious ass...great guitars and vocal melodies.

the rest of the album is awesome as well...in fact, most of the songs are even better than "crazy bitch"...if you like solid rock n roll, you'd be a fool not to buy the album.
