oh my god people. this film might be rated pg-13. i'm so fucking pissed off In June's VANITY FAIR, it states that Bruce Willis was initially
disappointed that his fourth DIE HARD film will likely be cut to get a PG-13
rating rather than an R. 'I really wanted this one to live up to the promise
of the first one, which I always thought was the only really good one.' And
he's not happy about it. 'That's a studio decision that is becoming more and
more common, because they're trying to reach a broader audience. It seems
almost a courageous move to give a picture an R rating these days. But we

Does anyone know the comparison in ratings with U.S and Australia? Our PG is like Ninja Turtles and things like that and our R is the highest you can get. If Die Hard 4 gets a PG in U.S.A what kinda content is alowd in and what kinda movies normally cope a PG?  |

By the looks of it, your PG13 is our M and Your R is our MA and NC17 is our R. All the other Die Hards were rated M in Australia so I wont be 2 upset if this one is to. |

you can say "Fuck" once or twice in a pg-13 film. so he will probably say it once
From what he said on the AICN talkbacks it will only really be toned down Language but the violence is still there. You can show blood with Pg-13 just not guts flying everywhere etc.

No, its not confirmed yet. I have a feeling with all the negativity towards the Rating Fox might back off and let it be an R rated movie

yeah, nothings confirmed. with the ammount of attention and disapointment towards the possibility of it been a PG13 should surely discourage Fox enough to make it an R.

I hope they change their minds. I'm surprised they even consider a PG-13, considering the Die hard franchise and what happened with another Fox R-rated franchise (the sad Alien Vs Predator).
