when i get round to it tommorrow ill compare the version on the ad to the latest leak, coz as it happens i dont think theyre the same. i think the one on the ad was cleaner still than the latest leak.

Quote from: CHINESE DEMOCRACY eventually
Quote from: eraser
can't wait to see what he's going to say when the whole album will leak before the release or maybe before any release date !!

you dont think that that will discourage Axl from releasing it do you?

euh no not at all...

c'mon... axl doesn't care about me! you think he cares about you?

it's gonna leak... all albums leak! this is 2007...

he must care what we think cause he hasn't released the damn album because he was afraid that it would be shit. I dont mean to sound fruity but Axl is a sensetive dude and if he thinks that something is wrong or could be better he'll redo the whole song. The man is a perfectionist thats just the way he is. I thought it might discourage him because with all the down loading motha fuckas out there (my self included(but i after i download i buy the actual album)) that he might think whats the point of an official release? Well of course i think he needs to release it asap because if he doesn't the age of those songs will show and people might not care as much.

but to me and the rest of this board i think we can all agree that CHINESE DEMOCRACY can and will be the biggest and most anticipated album of the century maybe of all time and will go strait to the top beer

axl: whatever. who cares about our shitty website

the band: can i say something?

axl: i don't care.

I used to work in the market research field. ?Here is a theory:

Step 1) Intentionally leak a demo of the first single

Step 2) Let demo play on various radio stations for a set period of time.

Step 3) Gauge reactions to demo from radio listeners, media outlets (RS), and fan forums.

Step 4) Send out letters to stations after set time period demanding song be removed from playlist.

Step 5) Concoct story about a broken label maker and send band member out to give credability to story.

Just a theory, guys. ?Not one I even necassarily aggree with. ?JUST a theory.

And on a side note...just a tip for the band:  you guys should'nt buy your label-makers from the same office supply store that I bought my fax machine.

Not a bad theory. ?I had some personal experience with a label maker in fourth grade. ?They can be tricky.
