Yeh,

He knows these shows will sell out regardless. When an update is needed to sell tickets (such as U.S. tour dates) then the website will be completely revamped...like the last U.S. tour. It def. helped to sell tickets, maybe not much but enough to keep the tour going.

But I still see, for gnr to make a big impact in sales records when they do this tour, and just to let everyone know that gnr v2.0 is back in business,
they need to At least, the very minimum, drop a single,
just to insure the tour will be a huuuuge success, and not just settle for a succes like the previous tours.

the only feasible reason for GN'R not to announce the tour dates is that the album relase date is bein finalised. Axl knows if they drop tour dates without mention of the album it is goin to go against everythin he wrote in his open letter.

Axl is not stupid, he knows what he has to do and IMO counting the days is pretty stupid unless you do it because you?re attending some concert and are anxious and excited for the date to come.
