whatever happened to that street team stuff that was getting organized back in 2004? wouldn't now be about the right time to get something like that going in full motion?
nobody i know has any clue GNR is about to start a US tour and they dont even know about the European tour until I tell them.. I remember everyone was all gung ho with that whole street team thing then it just kind of died down.
its quite strange that theres almost no publicity whatsoever for these tour dates.

I know what you mean, but I mention the band as much as possible already. I let my college professor listen to a copy of Better because he's always recommending bands for us to listen to. He responded with, "That song rocks!"

I've got an idea what we could do!
Take a paper, cut out the words CHINESE DEMOCRACY and then spray paint the letters all over the streets!

I would think so, it feels like it. I listened to some of the "new" songs again today, after not doing so for a while, and it got me really excited again. I can't wait until they come to Phoenix or Tucson (and I already went to all 4 Hammerstein shows).

If they want me to put some fucking stickers around town, sure I'll do it. It can only be better for them.

I'll guarantee you that more people probably know about Buckcherry than the new GN'R. You say Guns N' Roses nowadays and the first thing people say is "Oh, I like Velvet Revolver." Sad, but true.

Did Sanctuary use street teams to promote Iron Maiden's new album? I don't think so, that's just a tactic that I don't see Merck using.
