So I would Like to hear everyone's theory of the "How could Kyle Be John's father to begin with" in this thread...because when it comes down to it...to me that's the only thing about the story at this point that they could truely fuck up. Waiting to hear your thoughts.

Kyle is always Johns father. John always sends him back in time. Simple as that.

I understand the situation but thats whats known as a paradox. I guess my real question is how do you believe that the paradox started to begin with due to a paradox being an unatural event and all?

To buy into the movie, you have to believe in time travel. To believe in time travel, you have to buy into the paradox. Each time travel movie sets up its own kind of "rules". As long as the movie sticks by those rules, its fine.

Are you saying that nothing can be changed through time travel then? That hasn't been the "rule" in the Terminator movies. John must have had a different father in one "alternate reality", but once he sent Kyle back the first time a loop was started.

There is a beginnig to it all...that's how this whole thing got started. I mean let us not forget who started the series...James Cameron! Now I know he is no longer involved, but he set the stage for this whole thing. Every story has a beginnig and an end.

Terminator release date confirmedBBC WorldThe fourth movie in the Terminator series will be released on 22 May 2009, film studio bosses have announced. Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins features Batman Begins star Christian Bale as rebel leader John Connor. Charlie's Angels director McG will take the helm on the movie, which is expected to be the first in a new Terminator trilogy. Production will begin in May this year in New Mexico in the US and will be the biggest film ever shot in the state. McG said in a statement that New Mexico represented an arid Western United States in a post-apocalyptic future. "This is the story of a man's search for belief in himself and his fellow man. It's a long journey and the landscape plays a critical role," he said. The film will open against family film Night at the Museum II: Escape From the Smithsonian - the sequel to the 2006 film starring Ben Stiller as a night security guard who realizes the exhibits where he works come to life when the sun goes down. The last Terminator movie - Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - starring California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, was released in 2003 and earned $150.4m (?75.7m) in the US. EDIT: Changed title. wonder what the next ones will be called The Quest for More Money

I think as long as they end the story the right way it won't totally suck.

At this point I'm questioning when it will end it could be in 2 years could be in 20 either way they will use dirty tatics like changing the actor playing the key role in all the movies it's kind of funny how he's the key to the survival to the human race when if he's ever confronted by a decent termator basicly he just runs away at least in 4 people can't say he didn't fight

So true. He's not much of a leader yet, but who knows in the next movies he might step it up...god I just hope the next two are at least a little better than the last one.

Hell I don't think he's every been much of a leader but I give him a pass from childhood up to the final days of being a teenager but as an adult he should have been a bit more brave like in 3 but at least in 4 he's not chased by a bitch that can't die just a funcking army of termanators and other crazy shit
