Yes we would like you to talk about the music not get caught up in how you're going to put it out.  Oh god, it was so much better when they were just musicians and were more focused on making music instead of selling music or doing it like somebody else.

I don't know that site, so I was wondering if anyone heard the original interview to confirm all those quotes.

Did anyone hear Duff on Trunk Nation? Allegedly he talked about new GN'R music.

Are these quotes from the interview maybe?

https://hotmetalmag.com/stones-may-have-shown-gnr-how-to-do-a-new-album-says-duff-mckagan/

The GN’R bassist seemed hesitant about going into detail when asked on Sirius XM about the chances of the superstar rockers putting out entirely new material any time soon, as opposed to reworked version of older unreleased songs which they’ve done over the past two years.

Asked on the Faction Talk station if he supported the release of ‘newly written’ songs, he said: "Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely."

"You’re wanting me to add more to that, aren’t you?"

"There’s new material. I don’t know how we’re going to put it out. I think that’s a question, too. Do you put out a record? Do you just keep putting out singles. I don’t know if the right answer is there in this day and age."

"But I do know there’s a new Pearl Jam record, I know Pearl Jam put out Dark Matter and I think that record was the perfect record for them right now because they’ve got a whole new energy."

"The same with the Stones – new record, putting out a whole new record."

The Stones’ Hackney Diamonds was described by McKagan as their best in more than 40 years.

"The band seems to have a whole new energy," he continued. "I think doing that record with (producer) Andrew Watt was key for their new energy because Andrew Watt’s got a lot of energy."

"So, you know, hopefully we can do something like that."

It may have been too early to go back at it but I was at the garden at 6AM.  hihi 5 or 6 wheelbarrows of mulch and I finished off the Perennial garden for Leslie.  She texted me just as I was finishing up wanting to thank me if I was the one who weeded.  I like to surprise them when I help out but don't tell them until I have a finished product.  Tomorrow I hope to mulch the Lasagna garden and get started on the Bird Garden.  The heat is coming on with humidity.

Marsha called just as I was walking away from winning on the new Elton John pinball.  Said she couldn't talk very long but needed to let me know what was going on in her garden.  She sounded like shit, tired and hoarse.  Long update and the only thing I got out of it was I needed to help her crew get some soil.  No update on what's going on with her before she had to quit talking.  Her husband dropped off the fruit trees this morning on his way to the hospital.  He didn't stick around and chat which is unlike him but did say they were hoping to take the tube out of her nose today.  I figure it's up to them to disclose what's going on so I don't push.  Them not talking makes me think the worse.  Hopefully they got better news today and she can leave the hospital soon.  I texted her an update so maybe I will get some news out of that.

First time that has ever happen.  Cracked the egg and the white was a bright green.  Google says could be a harmful bacteria, pseudomonas.  Suggested I smell it.  Hell no, it's green!   hihi  Anything it came in contact with got bleach water including the sink and countertop, dishwasher running right away.  Paper towels in trash and out the door.   hihi

Also on this day in 2006, GN'R headlined the Download Festival in the UK. Izzy and Sebastian Bach joined the band on stage.

And in 2012, GN'R played in Strasbourg, France. The first and only time GN'R has played there.

On June 11th, 2022, they headlined the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden.

There's always history!

Did you know that on June 11th, 1991, GN'R played the Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA? Then went back and played that same place in 2017, 2021 and 2023.

Oh yeah I suck at GNR history.  Good news is we're half way through the year and they may start announcing next year's tour dates in a couple of months.

Hershey you say.   Cheesy  Sounds like a road trip I would enjoy!  Thanks for the suggestion.  Amy, what do you think?

Watched Good Bones, Better Yards.  It's the mother's landscape spin off from the daughter's home renovation show.  It was so bad and she starts off the show mentioning she is a Master Gardener.  She use to be a red head and now she's blonde or white headed, wtf.  And she has a small dog she treats like her dolly.  The landscape design was more suited to a bachelor pad than to a couple who just had their first baby and planned to have more.  She had a large item in each section that made the backyard look crowded.  There's a reason a basketball court is smooth and not made out of pavers!  That's not going to be flat and smooth after one year.  I can see why she would want the children playing in the front yard because there's nothing safe back there or to entertain them.  Nothing to play with in the front yard either but you won't have to worry about that once the baby snatchers come by!  It will be years before the parents can enjoy that yard.  But the most disappointing thing was, she did not use one native plant in that design.

I should mention the couple spent $100,000 and were very happy with the final results.

They are sleep deprived.   hihi
