Up for auction is a set (being sold individually) of DW 24x18 Maple Bass Drums owned and used by Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver, Guns N' Roses, The Cult, Diamond Baby) on The Cult's "Beyond Good and Evil" Tour. Both drum heads have been signed by Matt with his signature and "The Cult."

"Pure Cult" is probably the best way to go, all the hits.  Downside is it only takes you through '94.

If you're looking for the most easily digestable, "Electric" is the choice.

Thanks for the recommendation.  After looking at both CDs on Amazon, I decided to order "Pure Cult" -- I also ordered someone else's new CD as well.

I'll let you know what I think, but I promise not to do a comparison.

It looks like Matt Sorum was unable to sell The Cult's "Beyond Good and Evil" Tour drums on eBay (he got a few offers).  So if anyone has an extra $2,599.99 for each, they're still available.

The original CD pressing of "Electric" is a very tough listen fidelity wise.

The difference between the original and remastered pressings is literally like night and day.
