I for one don't think I'd think the way slash does. do you? everyone thinks differently.
But this is getting ridiculously irrelevant to the topic  nervous.

wasnt Baz the guy on that reality show crying about being an alcoholic and Uncle Ted Nugent telling him he needs to quit drinking...Nice to see Baz sticking to his clean and sober rule. hihi hihi

I know Baz is really into his looks so maybe thats why he went from looking like a 25 year old actor to a 45 year old aging rock star...the booze man

Why are you such a jerk?

anyways if axl was so alien from others in thinking, how could he write those lyrics and music that so many people relate to?

To my thinking he is very human and humane.

anyways if axl was so alien from others in thinking,

Axl is alien to common trends, not necessarily the common way of thinking.

for those who wonder, a book called "A road less travelled" is not a bad thing to read to give you insight into those personalities who do things "different" from the norm....with the norm being whatever else the world is doing.

the difference between Mr. Rose and others is that he usually is the one who sets the standard, not follow something already done by someone else.

that's where your "relative" lyrics come from.

I don't know but he seems to like some trendy things.
I think words go to people's hearts when they come from a heart that can feel others pain as if their own.

Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc came along and end of story. Pantera had about as much play in weeding out hair metal as we all knew it in the 80's as Warrant.

Amusing how an article about Baz turns into this "OMG OMG! When does he sleep?" thing.....

/jarmo
You just don't get it do you? Roll Eyes

Remember when a member here posted that Axl Rose died in the 90's? And the guy doing the 2002 VMA's wasn't Axl?
Well, there is now more of them.

Thats why "Axl" can be so many places at ones and apparantly not sleep. Get it now why "he" sounds diferent then he did in 2002? Wink
It's all a big concpiracy, how can everyone be so blind!!!

X-files music here
PS/ Polluxm gonna be all over this one hihi

Jarmo, I think you kind of missed the point.  The issue of when he sleeps ties to the bigger issue of when he gets on stage.  I think if we go back and look at most of the shows, Axl ain't showing up at 7:00 pm.  There are exceptions, like you mentioned, but as I said before, if you're partying from 5am to 2 pm, you're not showing up for soundcheck every night at 7:00 pm.

In any event, none of this is a big deal.

Cheers,

Andrew

Soundcheck?

I don't think they do soundchecks before every show.

At least I've never heard anybody saying they heard the band soundcheck while waiting in line. I remember that they did it in Madrid, but that was the first show of the European tour.

Oh, and just because Axl isn't on stage at 7PM doesn't mean he's not at the venue or on his way there....

Common sense says that it takes time to prepare for the show. You just don't show up and walk on stage.

/jarmo

We heard them soundchecking at Hammerstein around 8pm, just as the doors opened.
