My thoughts exactly with Trump. Needs to back up his mouth with some policies on how he plans to do what he is saying.

He's a cartoon.

I tend to vote Republican, so its a bummer having this guy on my team.  Even more disconcerting is how many people are buying into this.  The polling...I can't explain.

Ultimately, its too far out to matter.  And he will drop out on his own terms, say that he can't deal with all the nonsense that would interfere with him saving the country, declare himself the uncrowned champion, and bounce.

But the ride, while fun, really doesn't make us look great.  In the eyes of anyone.

True, but for different reasons.

Santorum pushes a social platform straight out of the 1950s, and Perry is just a dunce.

But for all their faults, they are at least serious politicians.  Trump is doing this as a goof.

I think it's more than just a goof.  Anyone that liked him before this loves him now and those that hate him enjoy watching and actively hating him.  He has no chance of winning, but I think when this is all done he may have solidified a base of the population to such an extent that he may become powerful enough to have his own TV/media network.  So he's not running for President but he is running to be the next Rupert Murdoch / Ted Turner.

Could be.  Its basically impossible to argue he's hurt the Trump brand in any way.

At the minimum, he gets another book deal out of this adventure.

Face it. They pretty much destroyed their own best candidate (Christie), because he wasn't "conservative" enough.

The choices for this next election suck. They suck on the left. They suck on the right. And they suck right down the center.

Maybe Nader will run again...at least I can waste a vote on some one I personally know.

Shutting down a major bridge for petty political revenge and having an embarrassing unemployment rate and endless credit downgrades in NJ is something to be a fan of?  Huh

"Bridgegate" was a joke.  It was embarrassing the way they tried to pretend that was some huge deal.

But the credit downgrades are a real problem.  And what has happened to Atlantic City is nothing short of a disaster.

He was my guy, I really liked him.  But it appears he missed his window.

I don't think it's a lark Trump is on.
I believe he has a huge ego.
I believe GeorgeSteele hit the nail on the head...win or lose, it sets him up beautifully moving forward.

Pilferk's correct on Christie as well.  While my wife doesn't believe he has a chance in hell to win, I believe he is the Right's best communicator...and yes, Pilferk's right, the right-wingers have moved so far right, it's made for some up-hill work ahead for Christie.

As for the Left, (which I do lean Left), I am thoroughly unimpressed with Hillary Clinton.  Her interpersonal skills are sorely lacking.
NOW, for those of you who did not see Vice President Biden's appearance on Colbert's new Late Show, you MUST see it.
THAT is the man who will win in 2016 for the Democratic Party.
While I still believe Hillary could win, Joe Biden's chances are greater in my opinion.
The fact Bernie Sanders is polling so well makes me think age doesn't matter.

Delaware Joe is a straight-shooter.  Hillary's anything but.

This 2016 election process is going to be fascinating!

Trump...a synonym of all is wrong in America today, and in the World in general.

a real dumb, misogynistic, homophobic and racist idiot.
America deserves better than the Idiocracy he represents.

He wants to build a wall?

Didn't the west, and the USA, oppose East Germany building a wall and then cheered when Reagan asked it to be torn down?

The difference is...the East German wall was built to keep people IN....the wall he's talking about is to keep illegal immigrates out.

I see it as keepin Mexicans IN And that would result in Mexicans living in the states staying IN America. Cause they might not ever get back.
